What’s in the Christmas parcel?
First, you will need: A kitchen timer and a cardboard box. The larger box, the more difficult it is to guess.- Everyone takes a good look around the room, noting carefully books, decorations, figurines and knickknacks, etc.
- Then you choose one of the players to leave the room and count to, say, one hundred.
- Meanwhile you hide something from around the room in the box and close it.
- It is probably not a good idea to try to hide the couch or the dining table in the box!
- The player re-enters the room after the countdown, and has, say, 5 minutes in which to guess what’s in the box by asking questions like: Is it round, flat, soft, heavy etc.? The other players can only answer: Yes or no.
- You can hide a nice treat with the object as a little prize for finally getting the correct guess!
Bobby: I could put Zena in a shoebox she would fit in easily.
Zena: Don’t even think about it!
